Formed in 2000, Hooover's Oover appropriately calls their rock infused pop music "pop'n'rock", The music is essentially guitar based rock, but vocalist and rhythm guitarist Masami Iwasawa provides the pop element with her cute looks and peppy singing style.

 Topping it all off are the group's mod threads recalling the Group Sounds days. While still essentially an underground band, Hooover's Oover songs have had some high profile exposure including theme for the 2002 TBS/BS-i drama P na kanojo, image song for Sanrio's Puroland, and inclusion on the soundtrack of the film Guzen nimo saiaku na shonen, which starred Mika Nakashima. The band has released a number of albums and singles, and have been included on several compilations.
